President Muhammadu Buhari who was expected in the country today after his 10 day vacation in the UK has shifted his return date and is expected back in the country on Sunday 19th June.

The president had embarked on the vacation last week and also used the opportunity to visit an Ear-Nose and Throat specialist in London.

Controversy had trailed the presidents vacation when it was first mooted that the president was going for medical treatment and the presidency denied the claims stating that Buhari is hale and hearty.

Later it was revealed that in fact the president was not feeling well and was checked by doctors in Nigeria before the presidency said he just going to London for a second check up and it was nothing serious.

Later on, Buhari wrote to the national assembly taking a ten day leave and it was at that point that it was accepted that he had a problem with his ears and would also use that opportunity to check them.

During his stay in London, the president was visited by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Revd, Justin Welby. He was in company with Nigeria-born Secretary-General of Anglican Communion Worldwide, Most Revd Idowu Fearon and presented a souvenir to Buhari.

The Vice President has stated that all is well and the president will return on Sunday.
