According to Evans, the third camp is located on Gowon Estate, in the Egbeda area of the state.

Investigation revealed that Evans rented the Jakande Estate Detention Camp in 2010 purposely to detain his victims.

He also told the operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team that he rented the Jakande Flat for N750, per annum and has succeeded in getting some ransom from victims kept there.

“One of the victims I kept here (Jakande) is one Udoji, who I collected $1m from. Another one, Emesbos, paid me $300,000, while one, whose name I can’t remember, paid $250,000.

Asked if he usually visited the camps, Evans said no but added that he had boys on ground who updated him regularly.

Evans paid N1 million per annum to rent Igando apartment, two flats, adding that he always moved the victims whenever there was pressure from the police.

“Chief Umeh the pharmacist, and Chief Donatus Duru – were held in the house before my arrest,” he said.

He told the police that he made N100 million from one of the abducted chiefs but his boys flouted his order to release the man.
