How NYSC Member Got Automatic Employment Over Fayose’s Photograph
Fortune smiled on Mr. Osamwonyi Bright Osas, a member of the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC in Ekiti State on Thursday as he gained automatic employment.
The state Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose gave Osas automatic employment because the corps member sought to take photograph with him.
The governor had visited the Ikere-Ekiti to assess the dualization of Ado/Ikere Road when he met with the lucky corps member.
The Corps member, a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration presently serves at the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti and on sighting Governor Fayose, he introduced himself and asked to take photograph with him.
As he put it, “Good afternoon Mr. Governor, I am a native of Edo, I relocated from Adamawa to Ekiti State because of my love for you, I follow everything you do religiously online, I love you so much and I pray God take you higher and higher. I graduated from UNIBEN with a first class in Political Science and Public Administration, one thing I pray thee Sir, please allow me snap with you Sir”, the Corps member said.
Governor Fayose who obliged the request, said to him “go to the provost tomorrow, tell her I asked her to give you automatic employment”.
The visibly happy Osas told journalists that he had being reading the governor since his days as student and had wished to meet him one day.
He spoke about the attitude of Fayose, describing him as fearless and straight forward human being. “It was from him I learnt that governance and policies must centre around ordinary people,” he said.
The governor has since called on the college provost, who in turn had asked Osas to come to his office on Monday with his Curriculum Vitae.
