Donald Trump Billed To Attend Nigeria’s Oil And Gas Roadshow
President elect of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump has been earmarked to attend a roadshow which is being organised by the Federal Government of Nigeria as part of efforts to attract investment into the oil and gas sector.
This was revealed by Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources while speaking as he unveiled his goals and those of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources for this year in the nation’s capital Abuja.
“We are going to be seeking to attract investments and complete all the MoUs we have in China and India. We are looking to do a roadshow to the UK, we are looking to do a roadshow to the US with President Donald Trump coming in,’’ said the minister of state.
This he said is as a result of the relationship fostered by President Muhammadu Buhari as the roadshow will be held in the UK and the US.
He also spoke about ongoing work at the nation’s refineries in a bid to revamp them to about 60 percent capacity even as he said that government is working towards a lasting solution for Niger Delta militancy.
